Introduction​

This document outlines the use of Tracking Tools (including Cookies) on the Old World Federation (OWF) website (oldworldfederation.com) and PLAY Portal (play.oldworldfederation.com). The tools used by the Data Controller (OWF) are strictly necessary for the basic function and provision of the Service.

Use of Tracking Tools and Third-Party Services

This Application utilizes only Required/Technical Cookies and similar tools. These are essential for core functions such as ensuring security, enabling user login sessions, and maintaining site configuration.

Security Verification (Google reCAPTCHA): This application integrates Google reCAPTCHA to protect against spam and automated abuse. This service involves the transmission of data (e.g., IP address, user behavior) to Google for analysis, which is necessary for the security of our service.

No Consent Required: As these tools are strictly necessary for the operation of the Service, their use does not require explicit user consent.

Third Parties: Tracking Tools, including Google reCAPTCHA, may include those managed by the Owner (First-Party) or by Third-Party providers. Third-party usage is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Managing Cookies via Browser

Users can manage or delete cookies at any time using their browser settings (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari). However, blocking necessary technical cookies may prevent the Application from functioning correctly.

Registration and Profile Data

To use the Old World Federation (OWF) PLAY platform and access the competitive circuit and profile features, we collect the following data during registration:

Data Collected

Identification: Full Name (Name and Surname) and Nickname.
Contact & Security: Email address and a self-chosen, encrypted password.
Ranking Information:  Country of belonging.

Data Usage and Visibility

Visibility: By default, your data is visible only to other registered OWF Ranking users. You can choose to display only your Nickname instead of your Full Name through the settings in the play portal application.

Administrative Use: Your Full Name and Country are necessary for the administrative functioning of the OWF competitive circuit (e.g., tournament verification and national ranking).

Security: Your password and email are never shown to other users or third parties. We will never ask you for your password.Account Management:

You can request account deletion (including your Ranking profile) directly via the settings in the PLAY portal application. Deletion is permanent.
